SCENT is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to the study, creation, communication, and application of scent, olfaction, and sensory culture. It focuses on exploring the profound connections between smell, memory, emotion, art, science, education, and society. The journal publishes original research papers, practical cases, creative works, and critical reviews related to olfactory culture, sensory design, olfactory art, and scent education.
SCENT aims to build a professional and open academic platform for scholars, artists, educators, designers, and practitioners from around the world who care about the sense of smell. By promoting dialogue and innovation across multiple fields, the journal strives to deepen public understanding of olfactory culture and expand the boundaries of smell-related research and practice.
Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.
