Vol. 2 No 12 (2025): A Digital Olfactory Ecosystem with Aroma Cloud

Abstract

Against the backdrop of the escalating mental health challenges in the digital age, this study proposes the Aroma Cloud system, an innovative digital ecosystem for olfactory-based emotional regulation that integrates multi-modal emotion recognition, neuro-aromatherapy, and digital twin technology. By constructing an "emotion-olfaction" digital twin system, this ecosystem realizes a closed-loop therapeutic path of real-time emotional recognition, intelligent fragrance matching, and molecular-level atomization release, breaking the technical gap between emotion recognition and aromatherapy. This paper systematically elaborates on the research background, theoretical foundation, system design, user experience, key influencing factors, and core regulation mechanisms of the Aroma Cloud system, and further prospects its multi-scenario application and industrial development potential. The research results show that the Aroma Cloud system has significant effects on emotional soothing at both psychological and physiological levels, providing a novel non-invasive, personalized solution for public emotional health management and opening up a new paradigm for human-computer emotional interaction in the digital era.
